MISSION STATEMENTS

PRESQUE ISLE COUNTY TEAM OVERALL MISSION

To promote the ideals of the Republican Party, and the conservative values of Presque Isle County, Michigan.
To protect the inalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for every member of society by promoting the election of qualified Republicans to local, state and federal office as a result of the efforts of a strong county party at the grass-roots level.
To encourage Republicans in Presque Isle County to seek public offices.
To support all Republican nominees for partisan office and to contribute funds, leadership, manpower and prestige to their campaigns to the extent of The Committee's ability.
To provide effective public relations and educational programs designed to bring the general public and underlying principals of the Republican Party in general and the position of the Party upon the national and state issues after proper consideration of national and state platforms and policy, and upon such other issues as The Committee deems to be partisan.
To broaden the scope of the Republican Party activities and participation in Presque Isle County and particularly to encourage and foster vigorous volunteer Republican clubs, and to do whatever is necessary to develop manpower and leadership from these sources.
To build and maintain countywide precinct and campaign organizations, and to provide a central headquarter facility and personnel as to make possible an effective organization for use by campaign committees of all Republican nominees for partisan office as The Committee deems necessary.

FAITH & VALUES TEAM MISSION

Conservative values are at the heart of the Republican Party, and the hard work of conservatives was integral to the historic Republican successes in 2000, 2002, and 2004. President Bush has sought to create a culture of life in this county and has worked for opportunities to strengthen the family. The Republican National Committee's Conservative Team Leader outreach regularly engages with conservative activists from across the country, working together to further a national agenda promoting free markets, limited government, and stronger families and communities.

SENIORS TEAM MISSION

The Republican Party is committed to keeping the promise of Social Security for today's retirees and those nearing retirement and strengthening Social Security for our children and grandchildren. Social Security is sound for today’s seniors and for those nearing retirement, but it needs to be fixed for younger workers – our children and grandchildren. The Republican Party is committed to an agenda of strengthening retirement security for today’s seniors by increasing protection of pensions and investments, while working to keep Social Security solvent for future generations.

YOUTH TEAM MISSION

Young activists have been instrumental in providing our political process with the idealism and energy that fuel winning campaigns and important change. With polls showing an emerging Republican majority among younger Americans, engaging and activating young Republicans is more important than ever. Communicating with youth on policies important to them is also an essential component in solidifying this majority. The GOP's Youth Team outreach will give young GOP activists the tools to advance President Bush's compassionate conservative vision.

WOMEN'S TEAM MISSION

The Republican Party under President Bush recognizes that women's priorities need to be our government's priorities. As a result, the RNC has launched a multifaceted campaign to reach out to and win support from women. Through the RNC Women's coalition and the Winning Women Leadership Programs, Republicans are spreading a positive, compassionate conservative message to women around the country, highlighting the President's work to improve education, enhance health security, and strengthen our economy.
